Acer will release 10 inch Aspire One with Linux OS and SSD in the near future. The original Aspire One has an 8.9-inch screen with a choice of XP or a Linux distribution called Linpus, and the option of a solid-state drive (SSD) or an HDD. The netbook will launch in mid-February and retails for £299. The SSD model will have a capacity of 16GB. However, there is no word on the release date for the Linux model. [ZDNet]
