Logitec Japan is out with a new portable DVD player to accompany your netbook. Powered by USB, the drive is capable of reading both single layer as well as dual layer DVD. In addition, it also serves as a ‘boot drive’ in case your hard drive crashes and you need to reinstall the operating system. It’ll be available in Japanese market starting October for $55.
