Maingear ALT-15 And ALT-17 Notebooks

Maingear has rolled out a couple of new high performance notebook computers namely the ALT-15 and ALT-17. Based on the Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, both laptops support the nVidia Optimus technology to give the performance and longevity for mobile users on-the-go. The Maingear ALT-15 (15.6-inch) and ALT-17 (17.3-inch) feature a dedicated nVidia GeForce GT 425M GPU with a 1GB GDDR3 memory, a 1920×1080 16:9 HD resolutions, up to 8GB of DDR3 1066MHZ memory, a Blu-ray or DVD burner and up to 512GB Solid State Drive. Additional specs include a fingerprint reader, Kensington locks, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, HD Audio, a 3-in-1 card reader, a 2.0MP webcam, a USB 3.0 Port, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, eSATA and HDMI. The Maingear ALT-15 is priced at $1,049, while the Maingear ALT-17 retails for $1,099. [PCLaunches]
