MSI CX700 And CR700 C-Series Notebooks

Taiwan’s MSI has announced two new notebook PCs to its newly-formed Classic series. Like their predecessors (CX600 and CR600), the CX700 and CR700 sport a different graphics processing hardware. The former comes with an ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 4330 3D 512MB graphics card, while the latter only uses a NVIDIA’s GeForce 8200M G GPU that shares memory with the system. Otherwise, specs are the same for both notebooks, including a 17-inch LED-backlit widescreen display with 1600 x 900 resolution, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a DVD burner, a 2.1-channel speaker system, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, an optional Bluetooth, a gigabit Ethernet port, an HDMI output, three USB ports, a 6-cell battery and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Electronista]
