MSI X-Slim Notebook Released in Japan

The MSI X-Slim will be launched in Japan in May 2009. This MacBook Air competitor was announced at 2009 CEBIT in Hannover. Measuring at only 19.8mm thick, the X-Slim features a Core 2 Solo SU3500 CPU running at 1.4GHz with a 2GB of RAM, and a choice of a 320GB HDD or a 250GB HDD. This super-slim laptop also has HDMI out, Bluetooth and optional 3G plus Wimax module. The MSI X-Slim is priced at 100,000 Yen ($1,029). [Akihabara]
