NEC today introduced a new VersaPro VE laptop that comes with an “Eco Button”. Using this button, it will decrease energy consumption by 20% by reducing the CPU speed and screen brightness. Other features include 15.1 inch LCD with 1280×800 resolution, 2Ghz Core 2 Duo T7250 CPU, 80GB HDD and 1GB RAM. No word on pricing so far. [Akihabara]
