The Panasonic Toughbook CF-53 semi-rugged laptop will be available in the US market very soon. The laptop comes with a 14-inch (1366 x 768) CircuLumin polarized anti-glare touchscreen display, up to 4GB RAM, the second generation Intel Sandy Bridge processor, a USB 3.0 port and an optional LTE module. The Toughbook CF-53 is available in three configurations from authorized Panasonic resellers and distributors in the United States. The Intel i5 CPU model will be released in June 2011 at an estimated street price of $1,899, while the Intel i5 CPU model with a touchscreen display will be launched in July 2011 for $2,449. And finally, the Intel i3 CPU model will be shipped in August 2011 for $1,599.
