Sony Vaio TZ18GN With 32GB SSD

Sony is releasing a new Vaio without the usual platter HDD. The Vaio TZ18GN is an 11.1-inch ultraportable with a 32GB SSD, Intel Core 2 Duo, and 1GB of RAM. Weighing 2.5 pounds it’s pretty damn light but too bad it comes pre-loaded with Vista. It sells for $4300, which is $700 more than the 100GB HDD equivalent but it will probably survive more drops than the usual laptop. The price of solid-state technology.
