Acer is gearing up to release a brand new convertible tablet PC known as the Aspire Timeline 1820P. According to Macles, the 1820P will have the same size and basic specs as the 1810T (or 1410 in a few regions). The main differences are; the 1820P will sport an 11.6-inch multi-touch screen and come with Windows 7 OS only. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. More

This mini laptop is based on Acer’s 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) netbook and features an AMD Athlon X2 L310 processor with two running cores at 1.2GHz and 1MB L2 Cache, a M780G chipset, an integrated ATI Radeon 3200 graphics card, a 4GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, a six-cell battery and Windows 7 OS. The Acer Aspire 1410 is now available in the US market via Cost Central. This 11.6-inch ultraportable laptop was formerly known as the Aspire Timeline 1810T. Cost Central provides the sapphire blue Aspire 1410-8414 model that features a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 ultra-low voltage processor, an Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, a 1366×768 LED-backlight display, a 2GB of DDR2 RAM (upgradeable to 4GB), a 250GB hard drive, and a 6-cell battery providing “up to 6 hours” of operation time. Sadly, the 1410 doesn’t have a built-in optical drive, so you should buy an external DVD player in order to play DVD movies on this laptop. Other features include a built-in webcam, stereo speakers, HDMI, VGA, and SPDIF outputs, 802.11n WiFi, a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.
