I found the latest Acer Aspire One D250 unboxing video on YouTube. The video was created by GeekyLives. In case you didn’t know, this netbook has a 10.1 inch display (1024 x 600 pixel) with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160Gb hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, and a SIM card reader. Acer is out with another of its high-end netbook known as the Aspire One 531, which was launched recently in Germany. Measuring 10″ x 7.2″ x 1.1″ and weighing 2.2 pounds, making it one of the smallest and lightest netbook with 10.1-inch display. So here’s what you can get from this high-end netbook: a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a choice of either 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 or 1.68GHz Intel Atom N280 processors, Intel 945GSE Express or Intel 82801GBM chipsets, up to 2GB of RAM, 160GB HDDs, 0.3M webcam, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, UMTS/HSDPA 3G Modem, multi-format card reader, 3 USB ports, VGA port and Ethernet port. Acer has officially launched their new Acer Aspire One D250 netbook in Europe. Measuring 258.5 x 184 x 25.4mm, the new netbook offers a choice of either 1.60GHz Intel Atom N270 or 1.66GHz Atom N280 processors, 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 (WSVGA) Acer Crystal Brite TFT LCD display, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB hard disk, a 0.3MP Acer Crystal Eye webcam, multitouch capable trackpad, Windows XP Home OS, an integrated WiFi and an optional Bluetooth 2.0+EDR connectivity. According to Macles, Acer is in progress of developing an 11-inch netbook. This new generation netbook will boast a 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 resolution (16:9), an Intel Atom Z530 processor, full width keyboard with flat keys and an integrated GMA500 graphics with hardware support for decode HD video. tnkgrl Mobile has added an eSATA port to her Acer Aspire One netbook. The port is located on right above the netbook’s second SD memory card slot. You will need steady hands for this hack as it requires carving up some holes in your netbook’s case that will void the warranty. Acer America has announced U.S. availability of the 10.1-inch Aspire One AOD150, with prices starting at $350. Here are the specs: a 10.1-inch WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD 1024 x 600, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive preloaded with Windows XP Home.
