The AMtek UD01 docking station is specially designed to add an extra drive bay and few extra ports to any netbook or notebook. The docking station will add 1 2.5-inch SATA HDD or ODD bay, 6 USB 2.0 ports, 1 Ethernet 10/100 jack, 1 DVI-D output, 1 VGA port, 1 Serial port, 1 Parallel port, 1 line/headphone output, and 1 mic input. The Amtek T10L 10.2 inch Tablet will be introduced during CES show in January 2009. It is said that this netbook is the cheapest netbook in the market today. The Amtek T10L Tablet Netbook will feature an 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N270 CPU with a 945GSE chipset that controls the motherboard, a 10.2 inch 1024×600 touch display, 80GB HDD, 1.3MP Camera, WiFi B/G, 3x USB, 1xVGA, 1xPCCard, 1xEthernet, 1xAudio in, and 1x Audio out. Amtek isn’t a well known brand, however, there tablet PC is looking good with it’s slim design as well as good quality. Featuring 12.1 XGA display, 1.2Ghz Core Duo CPU, 60GB Hard Drive, 2GB RAM, and Wi-Fi A/B/G . Unfortunately it might not make it to the US or elsewhere. But hopefully it does.
