Asus has officially announced the availability of its first ION-powered laptop for the US market. Priced at $499, the Eee PC 1201N features a 12-inch (1366 x 768) LCD display with an nVidia ION graphics card, a 250GB hard drive, and an Intel Atom 330 dual core processor. Asus is ready to release their latest Eee PC netbook in the form of the Asus Eee PC 1101HA-WP. Available in black or white colors, the 11.6-inch netbook is powered by an Intel Atom Z520 processor with a 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, an Intel GMA 500 graphcis chipset, and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium edition as its operating system. The MagicJack is a USB dongle that you can plug into any computer to enable free or low cost VoIP calls using a standard telephone handset. One member of the MagicJack support forums has integrated a MagicJack dongle into his Asus 1000HE. He took apart the device’s plastic shell, attached its components to the Asus Eee PC 1000HE motherboard via a USB connection, and drilled a hole in the case to plug in a phone. Known as the Eee PC 904 and Eee PC 905, these two portable gadgets is actually a successor of the Eee PC 900 and the Eee PC 901. This MSI Wind and Acer Aspire One competitors have the specifications that are similar to the 901. However, these laptops come with a bigger keyboard size and footprint, but not the LCD size.
