The ASUS G70 gaming laptop is based on a “Multi Dual-Engine” architecture with a duplex structure in its major system components, including dual graphics engine, dual hard drive bays and dual fan systems. The desktop replacement features dual NVIDIA 8700M GT graphics cards in SLI technology with 1024MB GDDR3 of dedicated memory, dual hard drive bays with up to 640GB data with dual cooling fans. This gaming monster also has a secondary LCD screen that shows critical system information. Other features include Blu-Ray Drive, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 2.0, and a built-in 2.0MP camera. Good news for Eee PC lovers because ASUSTek has recently added three new colors to its Eee PC 4G-X. The new colors are Sky Blue, Rush Green, and Brush Pink. In case you didn’t know, the Eee PC features an LCD screen in 800×480 resolution (WVGA), 4GB of SSD, and up to 2GB of RAM. These new Eee PC will be available in Japan on May 3rd, 2008. Asus has finally updated its famous Eee PC with a 32GB SSD. Other specs are include 2GB RAM, Intel Wi-Fi A/B/G/N upgraded card, 7 inch LCD with touch screen with 1,024 x 768 resolution, Air Play installed, Custom copper heatsink, Bluetooth connectivity and Webcam. I guess you are bored with the Eee PC competitor news. But here is a new Eee-PC competitor which is powered with a new Atom CPU. The Akoya Mini from Medion is a 10 inch small notebook which is powered by Intel’s Atom processor, on-board Linux, 1GB RAM, two USB 2.0 ports, a memory card slot, VGA out, and a 1.3MP webcam. 3K computers has recently released a new Asus Eee-PC competitor. Dubbed as the 3K Longitude 400, this laptop is weaker than its competitor. The gadget is powered by a 7 inch 800×480 display, 400 Mhz CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage, Wi-Fi, Wired Ethernet and three USB 2.0 ports. No word on pricjg so far. Asus will be releasing a new gaming laptop called the G1Sn in Japan. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.5GHz processor, 250GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, a 15.4″ 1,440 x 900 resolution display, and Windows Vista Home Edition.
