
A Chinese site so.pcpop.com has recently posted a product page of Asus’ upcoming Seashell netbook, the Eee PC 1001HA. According to this page, the 1001HA will feature a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel 945GSE + ICH7M chipset, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 3-cell battery and a choice of either Windows XP, Linux or with no OS installed. The Eee PC 1001HA Seashell will likely to start shipping sometime next week in European market with prices ranging from 250 to 300 euros. [EeePC]

Asus has silently released the Eee PC 1201n in China. The 12-inch netbook comes jam packed with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a HD widescreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and an nVidia GeForce 9400M, which looks like an ION chip. Other features include a 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet, a VGA port, USB, audio I/O, and a 6 cell battery (5200mAh) that is capable of up to 11 hours of run time. Asus will release the new UL20A notebook for the US market. The slim and lightweight laptop comes jam packed with a 12.1-inch 1,366 x 768 resolution display, an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz processor, a 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. A creative modder has successfully modified his Asus Eee PC 701, making it a “Kitchen PC”. He added the netbook with a 2GB of RAM, a touch screen display, a TV receiver and speaker. Watch the video after the jump to get more details. More

Here are the latest additions to Asus’ N-Series notebook line-up, the N61 and N71. These new multimedia notebooks are equipped with a choice of either an Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processor, an optional 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 240M or GT 220M graphics card, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray DVD Combo and Windows 7 OS. The only difference between these two notebooks is that the N61 only comes with a 16-inch HD LED display with 1366 x 768 resolution, while, the N71 offers a bigger 17.3-inch HD LED display with 1366 x 768 resolution. In case you’ve forgotten, this mini laptop is equipped with an Intel Atom Z520 processor, an 11.6-inch widescreen display with 1366 x 768 resolution, an Intel GMA500 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MPl webcam, a media card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, Windows XP Home OS and a 6-cell battery.
