Amex Digital has released the super-slim external Blu-ray drive for new MacBook and MacBook Pro. This Blu-ray drive is able to burn BD-RE/-R (single-layer) discs at 2x, whereas dual-layer versions will burn at 1x, while blank DVDs can be written at a rate of 4x to 8x.
