Dell Vostro A90 Arrives In U.S. market

Remember the Dell Vostro A90 netbook that we mentioned last year, which is limited to Japan only. Now this mini laptop has finally arrived in the U.S. market, so here’s a brief reminder in case you missed it. The A90 is based on the Inspiron Mini 9 netbook and features a 8.9 inch LCD display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, an Intel 945GSE chipset, 512MB of memory (up to 1GB), 8GB SSD (up to 16GB SSD), Ethernet port, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. In japan the Vostro A90 sells for $972, however in the U.S. the entry-level model can be purchased for just $350. Adding the 16GB SSD and 1GB of RAM brings the price up to $424. The Dell Vostro 1320 (13.3-inch), 1520 (15.4 inch), and 1720 (17 inch) are three budged-friendly notebooks that are based on Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors and offer up to 8GB of DDR2 memory. You can choose between the integrated GMA X4500MHD or the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 256MB graphic card. Other important features include up to 250GB of hard drive space or a 128GB solid state drive, a slot-load DVD burner or Blu-Ray combo drive, an optional 1.3MP webcam, WiFi, optional Bluetooth, and optional fingerprint reader and the Trusted Platform module 1.3. New Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Released in Japan

Dell Japan offers an updated version of the Inspiron Mini 10 in the Japanese market. The netbook comes jam packed with a 10 inch LCD (1366×768 resolution), 160GB of HDD, GPS, WiFi B/G, Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam, 1GB of RAM, and the new Atom Z520 CPU (1 Core 1.33GHz). Most of us know that the Dell Studio XPS is a great laptop. However, it is available only in black. Dell will release the “Bordeaux” (red) version of this famous laptop. This 4lbs, 0.65″ thick aluminum laptop features a 13.4-inch display with 1280×720 resolution, a 1.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, an Intel GMX4500 GPU, Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, 2GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, Ethernet port, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
