
A Chinese site so.pcpop.com has recently posted a product page of Asus’ upcoming Seashell netbook, the Eee PC 1001HA. According to this page, the 1001HA will feature a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel 945GSE + ICH7M chipset, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 3-cell battery and a choice of either Windows XP, Linux or with no OS installed. The Eee PC 1001HA Seashell will likely to start shipping sometime next week in European market with prices ranging from 250 to 300 euros. [EeePC]

The guys over at Liliputing has posted an unboxing video of the recently released Asus Eee PC 1101HA netbook. In case you’ve forgotten, this mini laptop is equipped with an Intel Atom Z520 processor, an 11.6-inch widescreen display with 1366 x 768 resolution, an Intel GMA500 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MPl webcam, a media card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, Windows XP Home OS and a 6-cell battery. Currently available in black, white, blue and pink color options, Asus will soon add a new color ‘Silver’ to its Eee PC 1005HA netbook series. This new model is due out in Japan starting next month. As for now, it’s available for preview from Japanese retailer Kakaku for 47,700 Yen (about $509). [Liliputing]

Asus finally announced the first convertible tablet netbook dubbed as the Eee PC T91. It features an 8.9″ convertible touchscreen display, Intel Atom processor, TV Tuner and GPS. The PC T91 weighs for 2-pound and 1-inch thick. No further information including the price yet. [Akihabara]

With all the competition going on in the 10-inch 1.6GHz Atom netbook industry, it’s hard to stand out without a handful of smart tricks.
