
The Booktop M1305 is the latest energy efficient laptop from Gigabyte which is based on Intel’s CULV platform. This ultra-thin machine is equipped with a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display, a 4GB RAM, a 500GB HDD, a replaceable optical drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a fingerprint reader, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Windows 7 OS. Gigabyte Taiwan has recently announced the upgraded TouchNote T1028X with a HD 1366 x 768 10.1-inch display and WiMAX. The tablet PC is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor with an Intel 945GSE chipset, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB SATA 2.5-inch HDD, and Microsoft Windows XP Home OS. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n, WiFi, and a 1.3MP webcam. Measuring 265mm x 214mm x 41.4mm and weighing 1.48kg, the Gigabyte TouchNote T1028X retails for HKD$4,990 (US$643). Gigabyte has finally released the official specifications page and user manual for their T1028 TouchNote convertible netbook. As we all know, the netbook was first introduced at CeBIT 2009, so here are the specs: a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1042 x 600 resolution, a choice of either an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz or N280 1.66GHz processor, Intel 945GSE Express GPU, 1GB of RAM (max 2GB), HSDPA support via an integrated 3.5G module, WiFi b/g/n and optional WiMAX. Gigabyte Technology’s Booktop M1022 will be available in either Intel Atom N270/945GSE or the new Intel Atom N280/GN40 models. The netbook will be released on April 13th, 2009. It will be priced at approx. $481 to $510, depending on the specs. [Digitimes]

The Thin Note M1024 is a new super slim netbook from Gigabyte. Weighing at just 1.96 pounds, the netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor with a 10.1 inch 1,024 x 600 resolution display, 1GB RAM, a 60GB/80GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with an optional embedded 3.5G modem. Gigabyte has revealed its new UMPC for the next release. The Gigabyte M528 comes with an 800Mhz Silverthorne/Poulsbo (Menlow), WiFi, Bluetooth, HSPA, USB, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, GPS, dual cameras (VGA up front, 3-megapixel with autofocus round the back), and a 4GB SSD.
