
Computer peripheral maker Hercules is set to release their latest mini laptop for the US market. Known as the eCAFE EC-1000W, the netbook offers a 10-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a chiclet-style keyboard, a webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, a 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Starter Edition OS. The eCAFE EC-1000W will be available in the US at some point for $399. [Hercules]

Hercules has upgraded the Le eCafe to a model codenamed EC-900. This model comes with a decent screen that measures 8.9-inches, 6-cell battery, microphone, SDHC memory card slot, and an Intel Atom N720 at 1.6Ghz. You can grab this one for only €330. [Mobilewhack]
