HP have officially announced that the HP Compaq Mini 311 netbook will be coming to Russia in November 2009. The company will sell the netbook for a retail price of $580. So here’s what you get, an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, a NVIDIA Ion chipset, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, a web camera, a 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI output and Windows 7 OS. Still remember the HP Pavilion dv8 that we posted in September? Hewlett-Packard has unveiled the pricing details for this new entertainment laptop. The HP Pavilion dv8 will go on sale in the UK on October 22nd, 2009 for £1,300 about $2,000. In case you didn’t know, the laptop features an 18.4-inch LCD display with full 1080p HD resolution, an nVidia GeForce GT230M graphics card with 1GB of DDR3 RAM, an Intel Core i7 processor, a 4GB of RAM, a 640GB (320 x 2) of HDD, and Windows 7 operating system. HP has confirmed that the availability of the limited edition HP Envy 15 laptop in the US market. Dubbed as the HP Envy 15 Beats, the new model is a collaboration between HP and rapper Dr Dre. The laptop features a Beats sound system and sport a piano black, high-gloss finish rather than the silver finish of the original model, and come with a signature Beats design as found in the Beats by Dr. Dre line of headphones. The HP Envy 15 Beats also comes bundled with Native Instrument’s Traktor LE software and Audio 2 DJ Traktor LE software with Audio 2 DJ multichannel splitter.
