CTL will now be dropping the 2GO PC. It comes with an Intel Celeron M CPU, 915GMS chipset, 512MB of RAM, a 9-inch, 800 x 480 LCD display, 40GB hard drive, 802.11b/g, SD / MMC reader, and standard ports and jacks. The systems run XP and have a VGA webcam, three hours usage time between charges. Look for the 2Go in about a couple months for $400. [Engadget]

Intel Shelton Ultra-Mobile PC

The Shelton 08 mobile PC will be launched in the third quarter of this year, according to news in Taiwan. The Intel Shelton 08 is so freakin cheap to produce that the power system would probably only cost between $100 and $300. I wonder if it would ever come to the U.S, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Intel showed off its new concept UMPC at 2007 Computex in Taipei. Dubbed as Donley, the concept features a 5 inch touchscreen display that swivels, integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity and wireless WAN. The device also runs Windows Vista.

BenQ today unveiled its latest Joybook, the BenQ S41. The laptop features Intel Core 2 Duo processor technology, 1GB RAM and nVIDIA GeForce 8600M graphics with UltraVivid technology. The Display Brilliance Enhancement Film (DBEF) enhances brightness. The Joybook S41 also comes equipped with SRS TruSurround XT, 802.11 a/b/g/n support, and Bluetooth 2.0.

Fujitsu Lifebook E8410 Santa Rosa Laptop

The new Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 adopts Intel’s latest Santa Rosa platform. The laptops provides a 15.4 inch display, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M graphics card, a 120GB hard drive, an integrated 1.3MP webcam, USB 2.0, and memory stick/SD card slots. The Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 SD20VP will be priced at approx. $1700, while the Fujitsu LifeBook E8410 SD22VP at around $1900. They are currently available in Korea.

The Dell XPS M1210 Ultra-portable Notebook

The Dell XPS M1210 ultra-portable notebook adopts Intel’s new laptop platform, code-named “Santa Rosa”. According to rumor published on Gizmodo, the notebook will be launched on June 26 this year. It comes with a 12-inch LED backlight screen, the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a 800MHz front side bus, Nvidia GeForce 8400M dedicated graphics, and a slot-loading DVD drive. Weighing at just four pounds, the M1210 is also thinner than the current M1210 based on Intel “Napa” platform.
