
Here are some pictures of the new laptop from Intel and Ziba Design. Dubbed as the Intel Metro Notebook, it is claimed as world’s thinnest laptop. The laptop measures less than 0.7 inches thick and weighs only 2.25 pounds. The Intel Metro Notebook comes equipped with Wi-Fi, WiMax and cellular network chips that let you stay online all the time. The device also comes in a beautiful champagne-colored magnesium exterior. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing or availability.

Toshiba Japan introduced the Dynabook Satellite T30 in Japan. The business notebook is powered by 1.60Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, Intel 945GM Express chipset, and comes with 80GB hard drive, 512MB RAM and DVD-Combo drive. The T30 sports 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x Firewire, Ethernet and audio slots. Unfortunately, it has not fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, and card reader. Measuring 362mm × 267.8mm × 39.3mm, the Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T30 retails for $1400 in Japan.

LG Electronics has unveiled the Z1 laptop which is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz processor and sports 1GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 graphics card with 512MB memory, and a 12.1 inch TFT display with 1280 x 800 resolution. This 1.86Kg laptop has a 2.5 inch Sideshow display located on the cover complete with touch sensitive buttons for navigation purposes. Pre-loaded with Vista Business, the LG Z1 provides a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, 5-in1 car reader,and 5.1CH Dolby Digital. No word on pricing yet.

Intel has recently announced their new ultra mobile platform today. Dubbed as the IUMPC2007, the gadget offers two different processing chips; the smaller 600MHz A100, and the larger 800MHz A110. It will utilize the 946GU Express Chipset with Intel GMA850 graphics that will allow a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 and up to 1GB of DDR2 Memory. No word on pricing yet.
