BenQ has rolled out a new netbook computer in the form of the Joybook Lite U102. Weighing only about 1Kg, this portable machine sports a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270/N280 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 3G, WiFi, a 4-in-1 card reader, 3x USB ports and Windows XP OS. BenQ has updated its netbook lineup with the new Joybook Lite U101. It features 10.1″ 1,024 x 600 display (an 8.9-inch version will also be available), 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a hard drive of unspecified size, a 3-cell battery, and optional 3G. U101 will run on optional Windows XP or Linux operating system. The 8.9-inch and 10.1-inch versions will hit retail shop in October and November for an undisclosed price. [Engadget]

It comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1GHz processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M G graphics card, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB 5400RPM Hard Drive, a Dual Layer DVD Super-Multi Drive, a 14.1″ WXGA (1280×800) Widescreen, 2.0-Megapixel Webcam, Wireless LAN, bluetooth, 4-in-1 card reader, and Windows Vista. This particular laptop has Windows Vista built-in among other things. The BenQ multimedia laptop Joybook Q41 features a 14.1″ wide UltraVivid display, and 2.5″ additional external display, with a processor Intel Core 2 Duo operating system and Microsoft Windows Vista. In addition, it also features bluetooth and wi-fi. There’s no pricing or availability info at this time. Check back later for more updates.
