According to reports, Kohjinsha is set to release its new 7-inch convertible touchscreen netbook this week, which is said to be an improved version of their previously released SC3. Dubbed as the SK3, this new UMPC will sport a 7-inch touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.3GHz Menlow platform, a 1GB RAM, a 60GB hard drive, GPS, a dual camera, an SD card slot, a PCI Express card slot, a VGA-out, a LAN connection, WiFi module and support Windows 7 OS. Kohjinsha has added a new netbook to its ‘MT series’ range of netbooks. This mini laptop sports a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 576 resolution, an Atom N270 processor, 1.3MP webcam, an integrated TV tuner, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows XP Home OS, 802.11g WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Kohjinsha is known for its UMPC / convertible tablet series. The company has teamed up with toy maker Bandai to create a Gachapin and Mukku netbook for kids. The netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU with 160GB HDD, 8.9-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), WiFi, a 3-in-1 card reader, a 1.3MP webcam and 1GB of RAM. The Kohjinsha SC3 features a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 60GB of HDD, a 7 inch wide touchscreen LCD with LED backlight, an internal GPS (optional), WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, and 1.3MP webcam.
