WIBRAIN Korea has announced the launch a new entry-level UMPC called the B1L. The WIBRAIN B1L runs on Ubuntu Linux and supports the Microsoft Office suite. It has a 1GHz CPU and a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution 4.8-inch LCD display with an option for Windows XP installation. The WIBRAIN B1L UMPC is available in Korea for $400+ to $500+. [AVING]

Kojinsha of Korea presents there UMPC L/V series lineup for 2008. The L series features resolution(1024×600) with an improved keyboard. While the V series has the same features as the previous K-series but now with GPS and built-in 7mm ODD. This series should will be available starting mid-January.

Raon Digital of Korea just released a new UMPC called the EVERUN Wibro. It has built-in Wibro module and enables users to get subsidy from KT and has a AMD LX900 processor and 60GB HDD. Korea is selling it for $849.
