Sharp has rolled out its latest laptop in the form of the Mebius PC-NJ70A that comes with an LCD trackpad supporting a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and has the capability to adjust brightness based on surrounding light. This trackpad also doubles as a secondary display for applications like calculator, media player, games etc. As for the specs itself, the system offers a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, Multicard reader, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Asus S121 Now Available In Taiwan

Asus has announced the availability of its S121 laptop in Taiwan. As we all know the laptop was first introduced back in January at CES. In case you missed it, here’s a brief reminder, the system offers a 12.1-inch WXGA display, a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a 1.3MP camera, Windows XP Home Edition OS, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth and a 4 cell battery. This 4lbs, 0.65″ thick aluminum laptop features a 13.4-inch display with 1280×720 resolution, a 1.2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, an Intel GMX4500 GPU, Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, 2GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, Ethernet port, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Dell is out with its latest laptop known as the Dell Inspiron 1410. This low-end laptop is equipped with a 14.1-inch WXGA display, a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T6400 processor, Intel’s GMA X3100 graphic card, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 250GB of HDD storage space, a DVD burner and 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity. India Announces The $10 Laptop … For $20

Here’s a good news for people of India, cause the Indian government will soon release their $10 laptop known as the Sakshat, though the price itself has gone up to $20. Unfortunately, there’s still no published image of the thing, or information about the screen size, RAM or processor, but from what I heard the system will include 2GB of storage, WiFi, Ethernet and 2 watts of power consumption. ASUS Bamboo Series Laptop

Here comes laptop that is not just looking green from the outside, but also on the inside and more, introducing Bamboo Series Notebook from ASUS. The company claims throughout every phase of the laptop’s life – from its conception, production and use to its eventual recycling and disposal, the bamboo-clad laptop is truly green. In developing the laptop, the company enforced its management to utilize tools that strictly adhered to the green principles. The Bamboo Series will come in both 12.1- and 11.1-inch variants, weighing 1.57kg and 1.25kg, respectively. Both will feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, DDR2 RAM, and LED-backlit displays, with minor hardware differences for each.
