Apple has confirmed that the company will release its rumored ultraportable notebook at Macworld Expo and Conference in January 2008. Priced at approx. $1,500, the new laptop will be 50 percent thinner than the company’s existing MacBook Pro. It will employ NAND flash memory instead of hard disk drive and will have a 12-inch display screen.
