Medion has come out with another affordable laptop which is targeted towards students. Dubbed as the Akoya P6620, this 16-inch laptop is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 processor and features a 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a memory card reader, WiFi, Windows Vista OS, a combined USB/eSATA port, a VGA port and an HDMI port. The Medion Akoya Mini E1312 is powered by a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display with an AMD Sempron 210U CPU, an ATI Radeon TM Xpress 1250 graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI out, three USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 1.3MP webcam. Available in black or white, the netbook also features a 6-cell or 9-cell battery and Microsoft Windows XP Home for the OS. According to rumors, a UK superstore will release the Medion Akoya E1210 netbook that retails for just £272. This 10 inch netbook offers TFT widescreen display with Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 160GB SATA hard drive and Microsoft Windows XP operating system. I guess you are bored with the Eee PC competitor news. But here is a new Eee-PC competitor which is powered with a new Atom CPU. The Akoya Mini from Medion is a 10 inch small notebook which is powered by Intel’s Atom processor, on-board Linux, 1GB RAM, two USB 2.0 ports, a memory card slot, VGA out, and a 1.3MP webcam.
