
Remember the Toshiba Mini NB205 netbook that we mentioned earlier this week? Toshiba America has finally announced its US availability starting late June for $349. In case you missed it, here’s a quick reminder, this mini laptop offers a 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite backlit LED display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, up to 2GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD with impact sensor, Windows XP Home OS, a built-in webcam, a 2-in-1 memory card slot, a security lock slot, a USB port with Sleep-and-Charge, two USB 2.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth and a 6-cell battery. Toshiba has added a new netbook to its range in the form of the NB205 that will soon make its way to the US. This mini laptop is packed with a 10.1-inch TruBrite LED-backlit LCD, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, Windows XP OS, a 2-in-1 memory card slot, an RGB port, WiFi and a six-cell battery. The netbook is available in two different versions: the NB205-210 ($350) that only comes in black and has a full flat keyboard or the NB205-310 ($400) that comes in metallic finish with four different colors (brown, white, pink and blue), and has a raised “chiclet” keyboard as well as Bluetooth capabilities.
