Olive Telecommunication in collaboration with Tata Teleservices have recently released their latest broadband-enabled netbook ‘X107H’ for the Indian market. This mini laptop is powered by a Qualcomm’s QSC6085 chipset and features a 1.6GHz processor, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and an EV-DO modem for broadband connectivity. Called the EasyPC E102, this mini laptop is packed with a RISC-based processor which is available in 1.2GHz or 1.6GHz versions, a 10.2-inch TFT LCD digital screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, an optional 256MB to 1GB RAM, a 4GB SSD or 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi, 3 USB ports, Ethernet Gigabit, a 3-cell Li-ion battery and supports Windows XP OS. Sony has recently showcased its upcoming ultraportable netbook ‘VAIO X’ during IFA 2009. However, details remain scarce at the moment, but from what we heard the netbook will feature an Atom processor, an 11.1-inch display and a new all-day battery. Stay tuned for more updates. More
