
Olive Telecommunication in collaboration with Tata Teleservices have recently released their latest broadband-enabled netbook ‘X107H’ for the Indian market. This mini laptop is powered by a Qualcomm’s QSC6085 chipset and features a 1.6GHz processor, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and an EV-DO modem for broadband connectivity. Chinese-based company, MenQ has recently showcased its upcoming 10.2-inch netbook at IFA 2009. Called the EasyPC E102, this mini laptop is packed with a RISC-based processor which is available in 1.2GHz or 1.6GHz versions, a 10.2-inch TFT LCD digital screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, an optional 256MB to 1GB RAM, a 4GB SSD or 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a 3-in-1 card reader, WiFi, 3 USB ports, Ethernet Gigabit, a 3-cell Li-ion battery and supports Windows XP OS.
