
Asus has upgraded their EeePC 1005 series with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter OS. The Asus Eee PC 1005HR-WS is a 10.1-inch netbook that is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor with a 1GB of RAM, an Intel 945GSE Express chipset, a 250GB of HDD, Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a webcam, and three USB ports. Acer today announced their brand new Aspire AS1410 11.6-inch netbook that is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Celeron processor, a 2GB of RAM (upgradable up to 4GB), a 160GB hard drive, an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, and an HDMI out. Running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, the netbook also features a high definition LED display (1366 x 768), a couple of stereo speakers with Dolby Sound Room audio enhancement, three USB 2.0 ports, a card reader, and a multi gesture touchpad. Lenovo today announced the availability of the nVidia ION-powered 12.1-inch Lenovo S12 netbook in the Japanese market. Available only in white, the netbook will be released in Japan on October 22nd, 2009 for 68,800 Yen ($757). As a reminder, the Lenovo S12 features an Intel Atom N270 processor, nVidia GeForce 9400M graphics, a 1280 x 800 LCD display, a 2GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 1.3MP webcam, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
