
Dell has upgraded its Studio 17 laptop with a multitouch display. The new model comes with a 17.3-inch 1,600 x 900 LCD display, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, processors ranging from a 2.1GHz Intel Dual Core T4300 to an Intel Core i7, an Intel GMA 4500HD graphics card, up to 1TB of 7,200rpm HDD, and Microsoft Windows 7 OS. Additional features include WiFi b/g/n, USB 2.0/e-SATA combo port with power share, HDMI, Display Port, VGA, Firewire (IEEE 1394a), and two USB 2.0 ports. Asus has officially announced the availability of its first ION-powered laptop for the US market. Priced at $499, the Eee PC 1201N features a 12-inch (1366 x 768) LCD display with an nVidia ION graphics card, a 250GB hard drive, and an Intel Atom 330 dual core processor. The highly anticipated Dell Adamo XPS is now available in the US market. Measuring 340mm x 272mm x 9.99mm and weighing 1.44Kg, the laptop features a 13.4-inch widescreen LCD display with a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit version).
