Dell has finally confirmed the availability of their latest Adamo XPS laptop, which is claimed to be the world’s thinnest PC laptop. Measuring at just 9.9mm thin, the Dell Adamo XPS is powered by a 1.4GHz Intel ULV processor with a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 128GB solid state drive (SSD), a 13.4-inch HD display with a resolution of 1,366 x 728, two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack and a mini display port. This ultraportable notebook is powered by an AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-core processor and sports a 12.1-inch 1366 x 768 LED backlit widescreen display, an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, up to 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and Windows 7 OS. Lenovo will launch the IdeaPad Y550P 15.6-inch laptop in mid-November for around $1399. Measuring 15.2-inch x 10.0-inch x 1.5-inch, the notebook is specially designed for gamers and multimedia mavens. It features an Intel Core i7 processor with the Turbo Boost technology, a 1366×768 HD LCD display, up to 8GB of RAM, and a powerful nVidia GeForce 240M graphics. LG has launched their latest Intel i7-powered laptop in the form of the X-NOTE R590. The notebook comes jam packed with a 15.6-inch (1600 x 900) LED Backlight LCD display, an Intel i7 CPU (820QM or 720QM), a 4GB of RAM, a 1024MB of nVidia GeForce CT 230M graphics, a 500GB of HDD, WiFi and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
