TongFang has unveiled its new TongFang Imini S1 mini notebook. This portable gadget features 10.2 inch LCD display with Via 1.2GHz processor, VIA VX700 chipset, 512MB RAM and 80GB hard drive. There is no word on availability or pricing. I think the TongFang Imini S1 Mini Note is cheaper than its competitor because it is not using SSD. [AVING]
The Gigabyte unveiled its new M912 Mini Note. This tablet PC features a 8.9-inch touchscreen LCD, a 1.6GHz Atom CPU with 1GB of memory. Its hard drive provides a storage capacity from 120GB to 250GB depending on the exact model. The first version of the Gigabyte M912 mini note comes with Linux operating system and a 1.3MP webcam, Bluetooth and an SD card reader. The Gigabyte M912 Mini Note retails for around $500.
