Toshiba has added a new member to its gaming laptop series by announcing the Qosmio X500. Powered by the latest Intel Core-i7 2.8GHz processor, the X500 sports a large 18.4-inch TruBrite Full HD LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 250MNV 1GB graphics card, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB HDD, an HD webcam, a Blu-ray burner, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 5-in-1 card reader, an HDMI port, 3x USB 2.0 ports and an e-SATA/USB combo port. Toshiba comes up with a Gaming monster laptop in CES 2009, The Qosmio X305-Q725 equipped with a low cost Quad-core Q9000 which is 30% much cheaper than the Q9300, mobile Intel GS45 Express Chipset, NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTX, a 17″ 1680×1050 resolution TFT LCD , a 64 GB ATA SSD and a 320 GB (7200 RPM) hard drive, and 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM. Toshiba has introduced a new Qosmio model which will be released by the end of this year. Dubbed as The Qosmio G50, This 18 inch screen laptop features the famous SpursEngine Graphic card that using the same technology with PS3, an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz), an Intel GM45 Express chipset, a Nvidia GeForce 960M GT graphic card, up to 570GB of HDD (320GB + 250GB), 4GB of memory, two Digital TV Tuner, as well as 4 USB ports, One eSATA port, 1.3 Mpix web camera, HDMI port, a fingerprint sensor, and a DVD SuperMulti Drive. Toshiba will be releasing a new laptop called the G55 next month for $1,550. The G55 comes with an 18.4-inch (1680 x 945) display, Centrino 2 CPU, GeForce 9600M GT, 4GB of RAM, dual drives, and the “Quad Core HD processor” powering many media functions including the camera-based visual gesture control system. I’d have to say that Toshiba has really done it. Not only is the G40 97E a laptop, but it’s also a HD-DVD recorder, as well as digital tv tuner! It features 17 inch widescreen (1920×1200), Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, 400 GB HDD, 2 TV tuners, and HD-DVD player and burner. Unfortunately it wont be out in time for the holidays. But it will drop in stores late December for $3,544.20
