Samsung Introduces First Netbook With LTE 4G

Samsung will launch the first netbook with built-in 4G using Long Term Evolution (LTE). This technology allows the 10-inch Samsung netbok to delivers download speeds of up to 100Mbps thanks to the Samsung Kalmia 4G chipset. The netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Pine Trail-era Atom, a 1GB of RAM, up to a 250GB drive and 8.5-hour battery (albeit with 4G off). Some of the earliest netbooks with LTE 4G should be available in the US, where Verizon will launch it later this year. [Electronista]

Samsung Australia has confirmed about its plan to launch a Chrome-based netbook later this year. Similar to the new Samsung N210 netbook, this mini laptop will have a 10.1-inch LED display screen, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 2GB RAM, a 64GB SSD, 3G, WiFi, a 12-hour battery and run on Google Chrome OS.
