Samsung Aura R410 Laptop

Samsung will be releasing an new Aura model called the R410. It features a 14.1-inch, 1,280 x 800 display, 45nm Penryn CPUs, ATI Radeon Xpress 1250M graphics, a DVD burner, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, built-in WiFi and bluetooth, and a welcome ExpressCard slot. The R410 is going for about £499 or $1,000. The Aura R410 will hit Europe in May. [Engadget]

Samsung has just announced that they will be dropping another basic laptop called the P200. It comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics card, a 12.1″ display, 1.3 megapixel webcam,bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, and a 6-in-1 memory card reader. Be prepared to pay an average retail price of $1,500. No word on an exact release date yet. [coolwizardz]

Samsung has released a new 17′ laptop called the R700 model. It features a 1,440 x 900 resolution panel, NVIDIA’s GeForce 8400 GS, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, dual-layer DVD burner, built-in HDMI port, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 7-in-1 multicard reader to handle all your flash cards. This would be a great laptop for multimedia needs. Unfortunately this baby doesn’t come out until February for $970.

Samsung SPH-P9200 Mobile WiMAX UMPC

Samsung has unveiled its compact UMPC Deluxe MITs (or SPH-P9200) at the Samsung 4G Forum 2007 in Korea. This portable gadget is actually a successor of the SPH-P9000, which can connect to wireless internet and VoIP phone via Mobile WiMax. The UMPC is powered by Windows XP operating system and adopts 5-inch touch screen, QWERTY keyboard and 30GB of hard disk drive.
