
Sony Korea will launch not one but four new premium business laptops from its VAIO Z series. Known as the Sony VAIO VGN-Z58LG/X, VGN-Z56LG/X, VGN-Z56LG/R, and VGN-Z55LG/B, these laptops support a high-resolution 13.1-inch LED backlit LCD screen with an Intel latest Centrino 2 processor, a 6GB DDR3 RAM, and Microsoft Windows 7 OS. Weighing at just 1.41kg, the VAIO Z Series also use ‘Dynamic Hybrid Graphic System’ to switch modes without rebooting. The Sony VGN-Z58LG/X retails for 3,590,000 Won ($3,106), meanwhile the Sony VGN-Z56LG/X and VGN-Z56LG/R are available for 2,899,000 Won ($2,508) each. Sony has rolled out the Vaio Fall-Winter Signature collection that comes equipped with impressive specs. Designed for gaming purposes, the Sony Vaio VGN-FW590FFD features a 16.4-inch LCD display with a 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard disk drive, a 2.53GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics. Meanwhile, the Sony VAIO FW Nebula is powered by a 16.4-inch extra widescreen HD display, an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (up to 3.06GHz) with Intel Centrino 2 technology, an ATI HD Graphics card with up to 1GB VRAM, up to 8GB of configurable RAM, up to 500GB hard disk drive or 256GB SSD, and up to 5.5-hours of battery life. Other features include Bluetooth, HDMI, and a webcam.
Sony has also introduced the VAIO Signature Collection VGN-CW1FFX. Available in Royal Indigo, this limited edition gaming laptop boasts an nVidia GeForce GT 230M graphics card. The laptop also features a 320GB hard drive with 4GB of DDR3 memory, a built-in DVD/CD burner, a HDMI output, and an integrated webcam and microphone. More

Sony has expanded its 14-inch laptop range by announcing the Sony Vaio CW. The machine is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13GHz processor and boasts a 14-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, a NVIDIA GeForce GT230M GPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, an HDMI port, a 4-hour battery and Windows 7 OS. Sony has launched a new commercial video of the VAIO X. The video shows us that the upcoming Sony Vaio X is thin. The laptop measures at only 0.55-inch thin.
