FC Has Approved Asus R1E Tablet PC

Asus R1E tablet PC has approved by the FCC so you should be able to find it on Asus’s site in a few days. This 13.3-inch convertible tablet is based on Santa Rosa platform, which sports Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 / T7300 / T7100 processor, up to 4GB RAM, max 160GB hard drive, 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth, dual layer DVD burner, GMA X3100 graphics and Windows Vista operating system.

Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC Confirmed

Jeff Clarke, Dell’s Business Product Group General Manager, has confirmed that the company will release a Latitude tablet soon. Jeff mentioned that the tablet is designed specifically for education/heathcare/corporate sector. The Latitude XT will be featured with single/dual core Intel ultra low voltage processor, LED-backlit WXGA 1280 x 800 display, wireless n, Bluetooth, and fingerprint reader. Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC is expected to ship in Q3 with Windows Vista operating system.

Dell Latitude Tablet PC

Dell will release the company’s Tablet PC, which will be a part of Latitude mobile computers lineup. Dubbed as the Latitude XT, the tablet is designed for educational, health care and corporate marketplace. It is “one of the lightest convertible tablets”, and features the “pen and touch” interface. Dell’s convertible laptop is expected to be available later this year and will ship with Windows Vista operating system.
