
Lenovo is introducing its latest 10″ machine into UMPC’s arena. Lenovo Ideapad S10 runs a 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor, up to 2GB of memory, the Intel 945 GSE Express chipset, and the GMA 950 graphics. It will come with standard features including two USB ports, Ethernet, a webcam, headphone jack, and a 4-in-1 card reader. This time you will also find ExpressCard slot for WWAN expansion on the S10, the fact that only other UMPC has this, HP 2133 Mini-Note. When this model is shipping in October, it’ll be the cheapest UMPC to run Windows XP in the United States. There’ll be in two configurations, both running Windows XP, available for $399 and $449. The Vye S41 Mini PC and Tablet Computer features Intel A110-800MHz processor, DDR2 667MHz 1024MB memory, 7 inch WSVGA(1024×600) TFT + TSP Touchscreen display, 80GB HDD, internal DVD Burner, internal GPS receiver and Mocrosoft Windows Vista Home Premium OS. The Kohjinsha SX Series offers 8.9 inch touch screen display at 1,280 x 768 resolution, Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 60GB HDD, Super Multi-DVD drive, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. That’s right! Dell E is the official name for the Dell mini Inspiron. This mini laptop features a 8.9 inch display and comes with the price tag of $299. The UMPC also offers a choice of Windows XP home of Ubuntu Linux, 8-in-1 card reader, integrated webcam, direct media playback buttons and various wireless access options. [TechDigest]

Telson has released a UMPC that will enhance your gaming experience as well as provides awesome 3D images with Masterimage throwing 3D images right at you without those 3D glasses. Other features include a 4.3″ display at 800 x 480 resolution, 512MB RAM, a 30GB/60GB hard drive, a C7-M 1.2GHz processor, and a Windows XP operating system. TongFang has unveiled its new TongFang Imini S1 mini notebook. This portable gadget features 10.2 inch LCD display with Via 1.2GHz processor, VIA VX700 chipset, 512MB RAM and 80GB hard drive. There is no word on availability or pricing. I think the TongFang Imini S1 Mini Note is cheaper than its competitor because it is not using SSD. [AVING]
