Wibrain unveiled its new UMPC ‘i1′ that will feature variants of Silverthorne Atom processor (1.1Ghz CPU and a 1.3Ghz version) and a built-in HSDPA module. It will be available with optional 30GB, and 60GB drive, and also SSD memory up to 64GB! The Wibrain touchpad is known for its exceptional split keyboard that offers quick URL and password entry. WIBRAIN Korea has announced the launch a new entry-level UMPC called the B1L. The WIBRAIN B1L runs on Ubuntu Linux and supports the Microsoft Office suite. It has a 1GHz CPU and a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution 4.8-inch LCD display with an option for Windows XP installation. The WIBRAIN B1L UMPC is available in Korea for $400+ to $500+. [AVING]
