The First Sub-$500 Vista Laptop?

Wal-mart offered the Everex Stepnote VA4101M, which is the world’s first Vista-powered laptop priced under $500. The laptop sports a 15.4 inch screen, 1.46 GHz Celeron M processor, VIA Chrome9 HC integrated graphics, 512MB RAM, a 60G HD, and a DVD burner. In addition, its screen has a 1280 x 800 maximal resolution. Weighing 5.9lbs, the VA4101M also provides 802.11b/g wireless connection, Ethernet LAN, and a built-In 56k modem. Buy it now at WalMart!
