
Lenovo’s ThinkPad W700 is the first to market with the Core 2 Extreme Quad Core processor. It features Nvidia’s Quadro FX mobile graphics processor, which has 1GB of dedicated video memory.
It comes with the option of dual hard drives with RAID configurations, up to 8 GB of high speed DDR3 memory and an optional Blu-ray burner/player. It is meant to be a laptop with equivalent power and performance in a mobile workstation. The ThinkPad W700 mobile workstation will be available beginning in September with models starting at $2,978.
