Toshiba just released a “budget” notebook which offers loads of power and functionality with a lower price than other Core Duos. The Toshiba A105-S4014 Core Duo Laptop comes with 1.83 GHz T2400 Core Duo Processor, Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, 1024MB RAM, 15.4″ Display, 120GB Hard Drive, Finger Print Reader, among others.
