The Satellite A500 is the latest high-end laptop from Toshiba that boasts a high definition LCD display. The laptop comes jam packed with a 16-inch HD Toshiba TruBrite display with 16:9 aspect ratio that offers a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a luminance of 200 cd/m². Other cool features include a built-in TV-Tuner to receive analogue and digital TV channels over DVB-T, an HD webcam, and high-end Harman Kardon stereo speakers. The Satellite A500 also features an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU or an AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core CPU, up to 8 GB DDR memory, up to 500GB HDD, and the ATI Mobility Radeon HD GPUs with up to 1GB DDR3 VRAM. Additionally, the laptop can be configured with a 64GB SSD drive (Solid State Drive). The Satellite A500 can be operated with a remote control thanks to the REGZA-Link, a HDMI CEC(High-Definition Multimedia Interface Consumer Electronics Control) interface.
