Verizon Releases Subsidized Gateway Netbook With 3G Service

Verizon is ready to launch the Gateway LT2016U is actually the Acer Aspire One D250 dressed up in Gateway clothing. The netbook features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display with a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB 5400rpm hard disk drive, a VGA webcam, and Microsoft Windows XP Home. It also has a Qualcomm Gobi 3G module supporting both CDMA EVDO and EDGE/UMTS/HSPA 3G data. The Gateway LT2016U will be available for $249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with 2-year contract.
