Vodafone Webbook Ubuntu-Powered Netbook Launched In South Africa

Vodafone’s South African subsidiary Vodacom has recently launched a new Ubuntu-powered netbook in South Africa called the Vodafone Webbook. This mini laptop is equipped with a 10-inch display, a Freescale iMX51 processor, a 512MB RAM, a 4GB of flash storage, a 7-hour battery and runs on Ubuntu Linux operating system. The Webbook sells for 1,499 Rand (about $183). [Liliputing]
